Sub:- Flexibility in NPS withdrawals during unprecedented times of COVID-19 -reg
This is regarding allowing of withdrawal from NPS Tier I account for all the subscribed employees during this COVID 19 pandemic situation, as this will help the staff who are in financial crunch as the DA hike have been withheld for further 18 months.
Currently the withdrawals are allowed for house plot purchase, higher studies treatment of serious diseases and marriage of children and no other withdrawal will be allowed from the NPS account in any other situations .that too only three times during the entire tenure of the subscription.
Allowing NPS withdrawal to all the subscribed employees without reducing the count of permissible withdrawals during this juncture will keep up the morale of the employees notwithstanding their contribution to the society.
Unprecedented time demand unprecedented responsibility and dedication as the entire Nation is facing an immense financial burden ,in order to keep have taken up the moral of the employees ,as the Postal Employees have taken up the mantle and served the nation during the pandemic risking their lives
This is the critical time that the financial burden should be eased off to continue the war against the COVID war by exempted withdrawal, to continue the fight against the COVID-19 and to serve the nation without losing their vigor.
Kindly take up the request with the PFDRA to safe guard the NPS subscribers during the pandemic and post pandemic situation.
