NOTICE

Subject: Representation of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant candidates of Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2017, seeking change of Postal Circles – reg
Consequent upon declaration of results of Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2017, candidates recommended for appointment to the posts of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant by the Staff Selection Commission were allotted various Postal Circles vide Notice No. 04-11/2019 SPNI dated 03.03.2020. Representations are being received from for reallocation of Circle, citing various reasons, viz. non submission of preference form, poor health, old parents, family problem, etc.

2. Criteria for allocation of Circle, as approved by the Competent Authority, were made published on public domain while seeking order of preferences for allocation of Circle from candidates.

3. Therefore, it has been decided by the Competent authority that there shall be no reallocation of Circles for any candidate on personal grounds.
4. For the benefits of the candidates who have been selected for appointment as Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant, it is informed that inter-circle transfer guidelines of the Department of Posts is available on the website of the Department, viz www.indiapost.gov.in, and the candidates will be able to avail the provisions for inter-circle transfer after joining the Department.

5. By issuing of this communication, all representations received so far has been disposed off and no further representation on reallocation of Circle on personal grounds shall be entertained.
