The Chairman & Chief Executive Officer,
Railway Board,
Rail Bhavan,
New Delhi.
Dear Sir,
Sub: Vaccination to Railway employees and their family members-reg.
In the wake of unprecedented surge in Covid-19 pandemic (2nd wave), the government has decided that those citizens who are in the age group between 18- 45 years should be vaccinated.
In this connection, NFIR brings to your kind notice that the railway employees are performing duties for ensuring uninterrupted services to the nation. It would be necessary to inoculate all the railway employees who are aged between 18-45 years free of cost, considering their critical role amid Covid 19 pandemic, braving the infection risk.
NFIR, therefore requests the Railway Board to kindly see that railway ministry issues instructions for vaccinating the railway employees who are in the age group of 18-45 years free of cost.
Yours faithfully,
(Dr. M. Raghavaiah)
General Secretary
