The Indian Railway Board, Eastern Railway declared a new holiday list for its administrative offices and employees during the year 2023. List of holidays during the year 2023 is given below.

Latest List of Holiday Homes for Railway Employees – All Railway Zone Wise List
1) Total 16 days including 03 National Holidays, 12 Paid Holidays 01 in lieu.
2) In addition to the 03(three) National Holidays, the 09 Holidays as “Additional National Holidays” will also qualify for the grant of National Holiday Allowance to eligible staff booked on those days.
3) ADJUSTMENTS:
i) 06.03.2023 Monday will work like Saturday and 04.03.2023 (Saturday) will work like Monday.
ii) Night shift work of 06.03.2023 (Monday) will be closed and 12.03.2023 (Sunday) Night Shift will be worked in lieu ot 06.03.2023 like Monday on account of Doljatra.
iii) 20.10.2023 (Friday) will work like Saturday and 14.10.2023 (Saturday) will work like Friday and Night shift work ot
20.10.2023 will be closed and Night shift work of 15.10.2023 (Sunday) will be worked like Saturday (Night shift only) on account of Durga puja.
