Diwali Bonus for Central Government Employees 2020 | Dussehra Bonus for Central Government Employees 2020
As part of the 7th Pay Commission, the central government has announced a Diwali bonus for Group B and Group C non-gazetted employees. The bonus has been announced under the Non-Product Linked Bonus (NLPB). The order in this regard was announced by the Central government as an ad-hoc bonus
Government of India, Ministry of Finance will be issued the bonus orders for 2019-20 for Central government employees. Central government employees Diwali Bonus / Dussehra Bonus order issued on 21 October 2020.

Bonus Calculation Formula for Central Govt Employees | Bonus Rate for Central Govt Employees
(Monthly Emoluments x 30) / 30.4
To illustrate, taking the calculation ceiling of monthly emoluments of Rs. 7000 (where actual average emoluments exceed Rs. 7000), Non-PLB (Ad-hoc Bonus) for thirty days would work out to Rs. 7000 × 30 / 30.4 = Rs.6907.89 (rounded off to Rs.6908/-).
Bonus (Ad-hoc bonus) Calculation for CG Employees
The quantum of Non-PLB (ad-hoc bonus) will be worked out on the basis of average emoluments/calculation ceiling whichever is lower.
To calculate Non-PLB (Ad-hoc bonus) for one day, the average emoluments in a year will be divided by 30.4(average number of days in a month). Thereafter, this will be multiplied by the number of days of bonus granted.
