The State Government of Meghalaya has released the following days to be Gazetted and Restricted Holidays for the Government offices in Meghalaya during the year 2021.

- 4 November 2021 – Thursday – Diwali (Deepavali)
- 12 November 2021 – Friday – Wangala Festival
- 23 November 2021 – Tuesday – Seng kutsnem
As per the order of Meghalaya govt holidays 2021, the above three days has been declared as General Holiday for Central and State Govt offices in Meghalaya during the month of November 2021.

MEGHALAYA GOVERNMENT LOCAL HOLIDAYS 2021
The Deputy Commissioners are authorized to declare a maximum of 3(three) days only as local holidays within their respective jurisdiction on the following occasions during the year 2021 except for East Khasi Hills District where State Government in GAD (A) will declare the Local Holidays.
(1) 53rd Garo Labour Corp Day
(2) Shad Suk Mynsiem
(3) Unitarian Anniversary Day
(4) Shad Nongkrem
(5) Any other Festival of Local significance.
SPECIAL HOLIDAY
Special Holiday has also been declared for all State Government Offices and all Revenue and Magisterial Courts and Educational Institutions in East Khasi Hills District, South West Khasi Hills District, West Khasi Hills District, East Jaintia Hills District, West Jaintia Hills District and Ribhoi District on the 22nd June, 2021 to celebrate “Rev. Thomas Jones Day”
