KV New Admission Age Limit for Class 1 2024-25

Class 1 Admission of KVS Result 2024-25
- Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 First Admission Lottery Result 2024-25 Will be available on 19.04.2024 (Friday)
- Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Second Admission Lottery Result 2024-25 Will be available on 29.04.2024 (Monday)
- Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Third Admission Lottery Result 2024-25 Will be available on 08.05.2024 (Wednesday)
For admission to Class 1, the minimum age limit has been set at 6 years and the maximum age limit at 8 years as of March 31, 2024. This means that a child must have completed 6 years but not crossed 8 years as of the mentioned date to be eligible for admission to Class 1 in KV schools. As per the new guidelines of KVS, the eligibility age for admission in class 1 is revised to 6 years old as on 31st March in the academic year 2024-25 in which admission is sought for Class 1. And also the student born on 1st April should be considered.

What is minimum age for Class 1 in KV admission?
The minimum age for class 1 admission in KV schools is 6 years. The age of the student should be above 6 years as of 31st March.

A Child must be 6 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I. (Child born on 1st April should also be considered.)

Note : The maximum age limit can be relaxed by two years in case of Differently abled children by the Principal.
