Mahesh Sahoo Will the Minister of HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:-
(a) whether there is a proposal to open a new Kendriya Vidyalaya in Talcher in Angul District of Odisha;
(b) if so, whether that will function this year or not; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c) Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has informed that a proposal for opening of a new Kendriya Vidyalaya at Talcher, District Angul, Odisha was received from the State Government of Odisha and the discrepancies noticed during the scrutiny were communicated to the State / District Administration in November, 2018. The proposal can be processed further only after removal of the discrepancies by the sponsoring authorities.
