Display of Admit Cards of The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination
(AISSEE) -2023
National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination at different centres located across the country on 08.01.2023 (Sunday).
Admit Cards in respect of the exam have been hosted on https://aissee.nta.nic.in
Candidates can download their respective Admit Cards from the said website using their Application Number and Date of Birth and read the instructions contained therein carefully.
Candidates are advised to note the following:
• The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions.
• Admit Card will not be sent by post.
• Candidate must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.
• Issue of Admit Card, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of admission process.
• Candidates are advised to preserve a copy of their Admit Card in good condition for future reference.

All India Sainik School Entrance Exam(AISSEE) 2023-“Correction Window”
Registration for the above-mentioned exam closed on 05.12.2022.
Applicants for AISSEE 2023 are hereby informed that the “Correction Window” in respect of the exam will be open from 07.12.2022 to 11.12.2022.
Candidates can make corrections, if required, to the details submitted by them in their application form through the online “Correction window”, at https://aisse.nta.nic.in
Candidates will be able to correct the details input by them in their application form. They can also replace uploaded documents, if they so desire, through the “Correction Window”.
It is seen that, more often, candidates discover from their respective admit cards, at a later stage, that they had committed errors in critical fields such as name, date of birth, gender, category, School, Exam, medium, Exam City opted etc and apply for correction, when it will not be possible to entertain their requests.
Therefore, candidates are advised, in their own interest, to download and check the confirmation page once again and ensure that the details contained therein are correct. In case they need to make any correction, they are advised to avail of this opportunity to make the desired corrections through the “Correction Window”.
No fee will be charged for the corrections carried out. However, candidates may be required to pay the differential exam fee, in case they change their category.

Extension of Last Date for submission of Online Applications for the All India Sainik School Exam (AISSEE) – 2023
Pursuant to requests from various candidates and with a view to enable larger participation, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of exam application forms online, on the following lines:

ALL INDIA SAINIK SCHOOLS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (AISSEE)-2023
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Education, Government of India an independent/ autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization.
NTA will be conducting the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2023 for admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2023-24. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. They prepare cadets to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other Training Academies, for Officers.
Ministry of Defence (MoD) has approved 18 New Sainik Schools, which operate in partnership with NGOs/ private schools/ State Governments. These approved New Sainik Schools function under the aegis of Sainik Schools Society. Admission to the Sainik School stream of Class VI of the New Sainik Schools, for the academic year 2023-24 is also through AISSEE 2023.

e-Counselling Admission in Sainik Schools for the First Time
ONLINE PROVISIONAL ADMISSION 2023-24
Sainik Schools admit boys in classes VI & IX on the basis of their merit in the Entrance Examination and an Interview and in Class XI boys are admitted on the basis of the marks scored in Class X Board examination.
Parents of candidates who are placed in the merit list and declared as medically fit are to submit mandated documents to the school office for admission. Details of online admission procedure is given in the ‘Admission Call Letter’ given below. Candidates who are given provisional admission will be called for final admission / joining the school when the school re-opens after COVID-19 crisis.

Sainik School Entrance Exam 2023 Date – 8th January 2023 (Sunday)
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Education, as an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization.

AISSEE 2023 Application Form – Eligibility Criteria
Sainik School Eligibility Criteria 2023-24: The National Testing Agency or NTA has released the AISSEE eligibliity criteria 2023 for admission in class 6th and 9th. AISSEE 2023 Eligibility criteria comprise the conditions which are to be filled by a child to get admission into Sainik School. Minimum age, state of domicile, educational qualification are the major parts of Sainik School admission eligibility 2023. Girls and boys, both can apply for Class 6 AISSEE 2023 exam, whereas class admissions are available for boy candidates only who are studying in VIII in a recognized school. As per AISSEE eligibility criteria 2023-24, a student’s age should be between 10-12 year and 13-15 years for Class 6 and 9 admissions, respectively. The exam conducting authority will reject the application forms of candidates who do not fulfil NTA AISSEE 2023 eligibility criteria.
The eligibility criteria, self-declaration, and other documents required to be submitted by the eligible candidates invited for counselling shall be verified as per norms specified by the Sainik School Society at subsequent stages of the admission process.
ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR IN AISSEE 2023
I. For admission to Sainik Schools
a) For admission to Class VI:
- A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2023 for admission to Class VI, i.e. he/she should have been born between 01 April 2011 and 31 March 2013 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2023-24.
- Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as boys.
b) For admission to Class IX:
- A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31 March 2023, for admission to Class IX, i.e. he should have been born between 01 April 2008 and 31 March 2010 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2023-24.
- Admission to Class IX is not open for girls.
- He should have passed Class VIII exam from a recognized school at the time of admission.
II. For admission to approved New Sainik Schools:
Admission to approved New Sainik Schools in the Sainik School stream, for the academic year 2023-24 is only at the level of Class VI.
a) Eligibility requirements are as follows:
- A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2023 for admission to Class VI, i.e. he/she should have been born between 01 April 2011 and 31 March 2013 (both days inclusive) for admission to the academic year 2023-24.
- Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as boys.
- Candidates should be studying in one of the New Sainik Schools and must have passed/ appearing in Class V as on 31.03.2023.
Candidates are advised to check the availability of seats for their specific category and gender from Appendix VI of the Information Bulletin carefully.

Documents Required For Sainik School Admission Form 2023

Before filling the AISSEE nta nic in application form 2023, students must go through eligibility criteria and verify if they fulfil all conditions for admission. The stepwise procedure to apply for Sainik School admission 2023 has been elaborated below:
Step 1: Online AISSEE Registration 2023-24
The first step of filling the Sainik School admission form 2023 is online registration. Students have to visit the main website aissee.nta.nic.in form 2023 and click on the link – FILL APPLICATION FORM – AISSEE 2023
It will open a new page. Now, students need to register by clicking on the ‘New Registration’ button.
Read all the details carefully and enable to check of disclaimer box by clicking on it, then, click on the proceed button.
Now, fill all details carefully and correctly. Students need to enter the following details:
- Personal details
- Contact details
- Choose a strong password of 8 to 13 characters (Include at least one Upper case alphabet, one Lower case alphabet, one numeric value, one special character eg. !@#$%^&*-)
- Choose a security question and answer that in the next field.
- Now, enter the security pin or captcha code as shown. Note: Security pin is case sensitive, so enter it as it is shown on the page.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button to save the AISSEE 2023 application form.
Step 2: Filling of Sainik School Admission Form 2023
After successful Sainik School 2023 registration, students have to enter the given details in the AISSEE application form 2023. Students should carefully fill the information correctly.
Details to be filled in Sainik School application form 2023:
Personal information:
Name, Date of Birth, Parent’s name, gender, state of domicile
Educational details:
Details of current educational status such as the name of school, class etc.
Communication details:
Phone number, email ID, Present address and permanent address
Filling in choices:
1. Four choices of Sainik School applying for
2. Three choices of exam centres to appear in the written test
3. The medium of appearing the test (English or Hindi for class VI; candidates appearing for the class IX entrance test can write the exam only in English)
Step 3: Uploading Scanned Images
After filling the details in Sainik School admission form 2023, students need to upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in the AISSEE 2023 application form. While uploading the images, ensure that the size and format are within the prescribed limit. Else, students may face issues in submitting the Sainik School admission form 2023. Step 4: Online AISSEE 2023 Fee Payment
Pay fee using through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee, then the transaction is cancelled and amount will be refunded to the candidates account. However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
Download save and print copies of confirmation page after successful remittance of fee and keep copies safely for future reference.

AISSEE 2023 Application Fee Details
Category wise Application fee Details are given below:
- General and Defence Category: Rs. 650
- SC/ST Category – Rs. 500
OBC-NCL List (other backward classes-non creamy layer) as per the Central List of other backward classes available on the website of National Commission for Backward Classes(NCBC), www.ncbc.nic.in, as on the first day of the month in which the process of Online Admission Form for AISSEE commences. Candidates falling within this list may mention OBC-NCL in the Category column. State/ UT list OBC(NCL) who are not in the Central List of OBC(NCL) must not choose the category “OBC-NCL”.
Note: The fee as mentioned above is exclusive of any taxes or service charges payable to banks / payment organisations, that may be applicable Fee as mentioned above is non-refundable. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Step 5: Download Confirmation of Sainik School Admission Form 2023
Students must save a copy of the confirmation page after submitting the Sainik School application form 2023. Note down the Application number and password. Keep it safe as it is required for AISSEE 2023 login.
And also, save a copy of the fee receipt. Students may require a copy of the AISSEE application form 2023 and fee receipt during the final admissions.
