RTE Arunachal Pradesh School Admission 2023-24

The Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009 is known as ​the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009, which was implemented in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in 2010. The act ensures that every child between the ages of 6 and 14 receives free and compulsory education. This includes children from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The act also mandates that private schools reserve 25% of their seats for children from these backgrounds.

The Indian government has implemented various initiatives to improve literacy rates, such as the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan program, which aims to provide free and compulsory education to all children between the ages of 6 and 14. Additionally, the government has launched the National Literacy Mission, which aims to eradicate illiteracy among adults. The right to education is guaranteed by the Constitution. This means that every child between the ages of 6 and 14 has the right to free and compulsory education. Features of Arunachal Pradesh Right to Education (RTE)

  • Free and compulsory education to all children of India in the 6 to 14 age group.
  • No child shall be held back, expelled or required to pass a board examination until the completion of elementary education.
  • If a child above 6 years of age has not been admitted in any school or could not complete his or her elementary education, then he or she shall be admitted in a class appropriate to his or her age. However, if a case may be where a child is directly admitted in the class appropriate to his or her age, then, in order to be at par with others, he or she shall have a right to receive special training within such time limits as may be prescribed. Provided further that a child so admitted to elementary education shall be entitled to free education till the completion of elementary education even after 14 years.
  • Proof of age for admission: For the purpose of admission to elementary education, the age of a child shall be determined on the basis of the birth certificate issued in accordance with the Provisions of Birth.
  • Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1856, or on the basis of such other document as may be prescribed. No child shall be denied admission in a school for lack of age proof.
  • A child who completes elementary education shall be awarded a certificate.
  • Call need to be taken for a fixed student–teacher ratio.
  • 25% percent reservation for economically disadvantaged communities in admission to Class I in all private schools is to be done.
  • Improvement in the quality of education is important.
  • School teachers will need adequate professional degree within five years or else will lose job.
  • School infrastructure (where there is a problem) need to be improved in every 3 years, else recognition will be cancelled.
  • Financial burden will be shared between the state and the central government.

Documents required for RTE (Right to Education) admission may vary depending on the state and the particular school. However, here are some documents commonly required for RTE Admission 2023:

  •  In case there is not any of the above document, the registered rent agreement – the rent agreement registered as per Arunachal Pradesh Stamp Act 1958 will be considered valid. (Notarized rent agreement will not be considered valid)
2 Parent’s Caste Certificate
  • Mamlatdar, Social Welfare Officer, Taluka Development Officer or Competent Officer Certificate
3 Birth Certificate
  • Gram Panchayat, Nagar Palika, Maha Nagar Palika Birth Certificate / Hospital Register Certificate /Anganvadi, Balvadi register Certificate / Parent or Guardian’s Notarized Affidavit
4 Photograph
  • Passport size colour photograph
5 Parent’s Income
  • Income certificate: Mamlatdar or Taluka Development Officer’s Certificate. Income Certificate given by Talati of E-Gram Panchayat will be also considered as valid.
6 BPL Category
  • Parents who are in 0-20 score (points) of BPL category should get the certificates from following offices: (1) For Rural area: Certificate of Taluka Development Officer or Director, District Rural Development Agency. (2) For Urban area: (a) For Municipal Corporation: Deputy Municipal commissioner or competent officer authorized by municipal corporation. (b) For Municipality: Certificate of Chief Officer of Municipality. (c) For Notified area: Certificate of Chief Executive Officer or Administrative Officer. In all those urban (city) areas, where beneficiery list is unavailable for the BPL 0 to 20 score, beneficiery will have to produce a BPL certificate specifying the BPL no under the BPL list issued by a competent authority. BPL ration card is not valid proof for BPL category.

  • Mamlatdar, Social Welfare Officer, Taluka Development Officer or Competent Officer Certificate
8 Orphan Child
  • Certificate of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of concerned district
9 Child in Need of Care and Protection
  • Certificate of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of concerned district
10 Children belonging to Child care Institution
  • Certificate of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of concerned district
11 Child Labour / Children of migrating Labourers
  • Certificate of concerned district Or Labour & Employment Dept Certificate.
12 Mentally Challenged Child Cerebral Palsy
  • Civil Surgeon Certificate
13 CWSN
  • Civil Surgeon certificate (minimum 40%)
14 ART therapy treatment seeking Children
  • Civil Surgeon Certificate
15 Children Of Martyred Soldiers
  • Certificate of authorized person of related department.
16 Single Girl Child category
  • Certificate of only single girl child for Rural area issued by Talati cum Mantri and Urban area from Chief officer and Municipal area issued by competent authority
17 Children studying in Anganwadi under State Government authority
  • Students who have studied in a state government owned Anganwadi for at least 2 years and whose names are registered on the ICDS – CAS web portal who have studied in that Anganwadi must be certified by the concerned Anganwadi worker or a competent authority certified by the Government from time to time.
18 Child Aadhar card
  • Copy of Child Aadhar Card
19 Parent’s Aadhar Card
  • Copy of Parent’s Aadhar Card
20 Bank Details
  • Child or parent’s passbook copy
21 Self Declaration
  • For whom not having PAN Number / Having PAN Number but not filed Income Tax Return

Arunachal Pradesh RTE Online Application Form Filling Parents to Special Attention to Parents

  • To avoid cancellation of your form, before filling the form carefully read the required documents for filling the form mentioned on the homepage and the details of the documents to be uploaded while filling the form. And definitely upload all the original documents as requested. If faded, Xerox copy and illegible documents are uploaded, the form will be rejected.
  • If any one of Aadhaar Card / Passport / Electricity Bill / Water Bill / Election Card / Ration Card of child’s father is proof of residence, then registered rent agreement is not required. In case none of the above grounds are present, the registered tenancy agreement – registered tenancy agreement as per Arunachal Pradesh Stamp Act 1958 and deposited in the concerned police station will be considered valid.
