CSD Payment System for AFD Items

Canteen Stores Department has now allowed the payment for AFD Items either by DD or RTGS/NEFT

Entitled CSD Customer can now pay with their own bank account through an online payment system for desired AFD items without any DD Charges. Customers are advised to collect the bank account number with your respective Depot office.

Guidelines to make Online / Offline / Loan Payments – AFD Portal

ANY PAYMENT HAS TO BE MADE ONLY FROM BENEFICIARY’s ACCOUNT. PAYMENT FROM THIRD PARTY ACCOUNT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND DEMAND WILL BE REJECTED BY DEPOT. NO CASH TRANSACTION WILL BE ACCEPTED

ONLINE PAYMENT:

Payment Gateway integrated with AFD CSD Portal supports following modes of Payment:

Credit/Debit Card
UPI
Net Banking
Bank Transfer
Note-1: Beneficiary can make payment only from his own account through any of the above modes of payment. Amount transferred from any other account other than individual will be treated as Third Party Transfer and demand can be rejected by CSD Depots.
Note-2: If cost of the AFD item is above Rs.10 Lakhs, beneficiary would be given an option to split the payment into 2 online payments to overcome the limitation put by SBI bank on the maximum amount that can be transacted through net banking.

OFFLINE PAYMENT:

In case you choose Bank Transfer mode, Please download the e-challan generated by the Payment Gateway that will be mentioning the virtual Account number, IFSC code and the exact amount to be deposited by NEFT/RTGS.
Virtual Account Number generated in e-challan is a 16 digit account number with first 9 digits remaining same as 222333154xxxxxxx and IFSC Code is always YESB0CMSNOC.
You can take a print out of the e-challan to your bank and request Bank to do NEFT/RTGS exactly as per details mentioned on the e-challan.
Please note that each e-challan payment is valid only for one transaction and if amount remitted is not as per what is mentioned on the e-challan, Payment Gateway will reject that transaction and you will get a refund back in your bank account.

LOAN PAYMENT ONLY:

ONLY Loan Payment can be made by direct bank transfer into bank account of CSD HO wef 15th May 2021 and balance amount if any, should be paid by the beneficiary through either online or offline payment method as mentioned above from his/her own account using the payment gateway.

Canteen Stores Department (CSD) has revised the norms of payment for purchasing AFD items recently. Earlier in CSD accept only Demand Draft (DD), now they have accepted the payment through online.

Demand Draft should be taken in favor of the ‘Canteen Stores Department Public Fund Account (Main) in any nationalized banks. There is a lot of time taken and charges also to be paid. Online fund transfer is very simple and saves money also.

In the case of NEFT transfer, first, add your respective Depot bank account number to your NEFT beneficiary list and then pay the amount of selected AFD item.

In the case of RTGS transfer, collect the bank account number of respective Depot with IFSC code. Two bank numbers are available for the amount paid above ten lakh and below ten lakhs. Paid through online banking with the option of RTGS with taking more care.

Offline RTGS SBI Transfer

You have to visit your bank to transfer the money through Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS). Fill the prescribed form for RTGS with complete details of the bank account and amount. The minimum transaction amount is two lakhs.

Canteen Stores Department (CSD) introduces the online sale of AFD Items through its official Online Shopping Website Portal. The official website link is www.afd.csdindia.gov.in.

CSD Canteen started online sale of AFD (Against Firm Demand) Items such as Car, Bike, Scooter, AC, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, etc., to all Smart Card Holders.

According to the internal order of MoD (Army) dated 4 December 2020 regarding the online sale in CSD Canteen, the letter indicated that as part of the automation of CSD, to enhance the user experience and provide ease of transactions to CSD beneficiaries, a website has been developed for online documentation and payment by the beneficiaries.

Introduction of Non AFD-I Items Fees Structure

Fee structure applicable towards application for introduction of non AFD-I items at two stages are mentioned below. Please make the payment accordingly:

Stage I	Rs. 2000/- per SKU	Rs. 3000/- per SKU	Rs. 15,000/-per SKU

* Startup / MSM Enterprises claiming fee concession as above should furnish relevant certificate / proof of their status, failing which fees as per Col (3) will be applicable to them.

Please note that there will not be any stage wise fees for applicants dealing with AFD-I category of items. The application fees for AFD-I category applicants are as under:

Terms & Conditions:

Fees paid for any stages is non refundable, non-transferable and non-apportion able.
The onus of paying the correct stage wise and category wise application fees per SKU lies with the applicant only and the department will not be liable for any wrong transfer of amount.

Refund / Cancellation Policy:

Fees once paid is non refundable, non-transferable and non-apportion able.
On line payment is to be made to Canteen Stores Department Public Fund Account (Main) through RTGS/ NEFT/ ECS which is non-refundable
